This title better defines our distribution of long-trusted Swagelok componentry, and it offers a more accurate and inclusive portrayal of the regions we serve, which include not only Western and Central Pennsylvania, but also neighboring counties in Ohio, West Virginia, and Maryland.

New Leadership
With our new name comes new leadership! Swagelok Pittsburgh | Tri-State Area’s new president, Greg Hines, succeeds Bill Gillespie, whose career with us spanned over 40 years.
Highlights from Gillespie’s time with the company include his investments that enabled us to expand our Strategic Services:

Gillespie was also responsible for the radical and successful decision to rebuild our leadership team in 2010, recruiting industrial business veterans with no previous connection to Swagelok company or brand.
Our new president and owner, Greg Hines, is originally from Philadelphia. He holds a BS in Engineering from Ohio University and an MBA from Case Western University. He began his Swagelok career in 1999, holding a wide array of factory and distributorship positions prior to his most recent responsibilities.
Regarding our new name, Hines said, “We are no longer just a componentry supplier; we now have a full portfolio of services that truly make us a high-performance resource. And our customers continue to evolve our capabilities.”
