Swagelok Hose Options

For over 50 years, you’ve trusted us to provide quality leak-tight tube fittings, valves, gauges, tubing, and other premium fluid-system componentry. But our product arsenal also includes premier Swagelok hoses and flexible tubing.

Our hoses go through rigorous testing to ensure safety and performance. We test: room temperature burst, hot and cold elevated temperature burst, static and dynamic bend radius, permeation, and vacuum (to make sure our hoses are – and stay – virtually leak-free). Our hoses are also tested to have working pressures up to 6000 psig (413 bar).

As we are fully-stocked and have certified Swagelok engineers on staff, we offer quick Custom Fabrication for both simple and complex system needs. Often, we’re even able to provide same-day delivery.

In just a short period of time, the wrong hose can cause major inefficiencies within your system. That’s why we can help you choose between a variety of core materials, plus numerous end connections and covers to ideally address your operational challenges around temperatures, pressures, and equipment. With 22 hoses and 89 end connections, we have the solution for almost any static or dynamic application.

Core Type

The core defines the hose. If you have a metal core, you have a metal hose. At Swagelok Pittsburgh | Tri-State Area, we offer products in customizable lengths for varying applications, chemical compatibility, temperatures, and operating pressures.

End Connections and Covers

Swagelok Pittsburgh | Tri-State Area offers 89 hose end connection and a wide array of covers.

End Connections

End connections are important to maintain the proper pressure and avoid any sort of slip between hoses. It’s also possible, using tube stub adapters, union tees, and elbows, to implement the same hose for multiple applications. Simply switch out the end connection.

Tagging Options

Tagging simplifies record keeping and asset management. It’s the best way to meet safety requirements and organize products based on type of material, fluid content, installation/testing dates, and maintenance schedules.

Perma tags are likely your best option as they’re easy to clean, fit five lines of information, and are protected from the operating environment. In addition to perma, we offer matt, lanyard, and clamp tags.
